The interviewer assumed that she meant mousefire like you might say greasefire. It probably should be orthographed "mouse fire", but the editor here at Brinkwater and Toad didn't catch it. Of course it's possible that mousefire is some sort of magical energy source, but the accepted spelling for that would probably be "mousefyre".
